Since its inception in 2005, Suffolk Community Foundation has raised and distributed £40 million in funding over 3,000 grants, awarding up to £5 million per year.

The High Sheriff of Suffolk is a key supporter and patron of the Suffolk Community Foundation. The High Sheriff’s Fund plays an integral part in both funding and championing the work of the local charitable sector. Money raised from this Legacy Auction will be used directly to fund local projects tackling challenges that include bullying, homelessness, anti-social behaviour, knife crime, drug and alcohol abuse.

‘In an environment of rapidly rising need, the work of the High Sheriff is outstanding at highlighting the fantastic work of the voluntary sector, which so often provides the glue in our community, enabling them to develop and thrive. We are enormously grateful to the High Sheriff for all he has contributed both in terms of awareness raising, bringing people together and encouraging financial support.”
